Excursions and travel

The High Atlas offers breathtaking landscapes and there are many opportunities for interesting day hikes and multi-day mountain trekking, for example to the high plateaus of the nomads, in impressive gorges with waterfalls and remote valleys with typical rammed earth villages.

All day trips, trekkings and round trips can be put together individually on request and carried out by us and our team.  We look forward to your inquiry HERE.

Accompanied day trips

A walk through the valley of Aït Bouguemez with the ascent of the pyramid hill Sidi Moussa is one of the most popular day goals.  The reward is a magnificent view of the entire valley!

A hike to the Ikkis alpine meadows with a visit to the waterfalls is also a unique experience, as is a walk through the Taghia d'Arous gorge or in the Jrou gorge.

A tour on the tracks of the dinosaurs to Ibakklioune tells the story of the valley.

The weekly market in Tabant takes place on Sundays.  A colorful hustle and bustle!

Trekkings

Our multi-day treks offer an even deeper insight into the beautiful landscapes.  You have the option of staying overnight in a tented camp or with locals, accompanied by your own Moroccan cook.

Common goals are:

the high plateau Tarkkedit with its nomads and the ascent of the Djebel M'Goun (4068m), crossing from north to south the M'Goun Gorge, which is the largest and most impressive gorge in Morocco, hiking to the valley of Tessaout with its famous rammed earth villages of Magdaz and Ichbakken  or a trek through the wild mountainous region to Zaouiat Ahançal.

In winter we also offer camel treks in the Sahara desert or on the Atlantic coast between Agadir and Essaouira.  For mountain lovers we also trek in the Anti-Atlas in Djebel Saghro in winter.

Round trips throughout Morocco

The guest house Flilou also organizes accompanied round trips from 2 people to and from Marrakech airport.  Everything is included except drinks, meals in the big cities, tips and your own insurance during your stay in Morocco.

We are on the road with off-road vehicles or a minibus and follow the traces of authentic Morocco.  The journeys are interrupted by walks and hikes in the respective region.  Lunch in the great outdoors and invitations from the local population complement the round trip.

Destinations for round trips are the south of Morocco to Zagora/Chegaga, along the Atlantic coast to Sidi Ifni, the road of the Kasbahs with the gorges of Dades and Todra to Merzouga, the royal cities or the Middle Atlas or the north with the cities of Tetouan and Chefchauen.
